About the Role

Reporting to the Venue Manager, you'll play a key leadership role in the smooth operation of our busy venue. From overseeing daily service across our bars to helping coordinate major functions and events, you'll be right in the action — ensuring every guest leaves impressed and every shift runs seamlessly.

What You'll Do

  • Support the Venue Manager in all aspects of operations, from staff management to financial performance.
  • Lead by example to deliver exceptional service across all areas of the venue.
  • Oversee daily bar operations, event setups, and service delivery.
  • Assist with recruitment, training, rostering, and team development.
  • Ensure compliance with ACT liquor licensing, RSA, and WHS requirements.
  • Manage stock levels, supplier relationships, and venue presentation.
  • Help plan and execute events — from corporate functions to large-scale social gatherings.

About You

  • Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within hospitality.
  • Strong understanding of bar operations, event coordination, and customer service.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • A proactive problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and public holidays as required.
  • Current RSA essential; First Aid and RCG certifications desirable.
