An exciting job exists for an experienced Defence Logistics Administrator in Brisbane.

Your new organisation is an industry leader, with business segments providing advanced Defence and Commercial technologies across Air, Land, Sea, Space and Cyber Domains. This company has an exciting opportunity for a Defence Logistics Administrator to join their team based in Brisbane.

**Your new role**
In your role as the Defence Logistics Administrator, you will act as a strategic and trusted partner to the internal and external client groups, providing administrative support to all members of the Communications team in order to facilitate day-to-day work and providing professional support, whilst adding value to the business.
Your key responsibilities will include:

- Reception duties including answering phones, booking, and confirming appointments
- Meet and greet clients and visitors, notifying internal staff of arrivals, escort visitors as required or requested
- Processing of all approved Foreign Visitor Request (FVR) Forms and associated documents
- Act as point of contact for all meeting room booking enquiries, including daily management and tidiness
- Coordinate daily incoming and outgoing mail and organisation of couriers
- Ensure adequate supplies of consumables, such as stationary, printer and kitchen supplies
- Assist in the induction and onboarding of all new staff with regards to administrative process
- Scheduling of all HR interviews and distributing all associated communications as directed by HRBP

**What you'll need to succeed**
To be successful in this role, you will have previous experience in Logistics Administrator role within the Defence Industry. You will also possess:

- Minimum of 3+ year’s previous experience
- Advanced level experience with MS Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel
- Experience working in a matrixed organization
- Ability to develop strong trusting relationships to gain support and achieve results.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
- Sound ability to multitask with the capacity to use discretion and maintain strict confidentiality

Please note Australian Citizenship is essential for this position as you will be required to obtain a Defence Security Clearance.
