**The Role**
This new position is part of a small team responsible for supporting four large health centres and four smaller clinics within Joint Health Unit - Central NSW (JHU CNSW). The successful applicant is expected to be able to operate with some independence once fully integrated in the team.
This position is perfect for a highly motivated individual that thrives in an environment of competing deadlines and a dynamic flow of tasks which will include contract management, business cases for resources, governance, coordination and compilation of reports, engagement with stakeholders and knowledge manager for the unit. This position will also be an important point of contact for regional Health Centre Managers and support the delivery of high quality health care in each of those facilities.

The small team includes administration, health professionals and specialist staff roles working collaboratively and collegiately to generate excellent health care results for Australian Defence Force members within JHU CNSW. **About our Team**
Joint Health Command (JHC) is responsible for the delivery of healthcare services to Australian Defence Force (ADF) personnel. JHC is also responsible for the health preparedness of ADF personnel for operations, and the coordination of health units for deployment in support of operations.
The APS 6 Administration Officer position is located within Joint Health Unit - Central New South Wales Headquarters.
The APS 6 Administration Officer will allocate work, resources and tasks and set work area priorities to meet set outcomes. This position will report directly to the Commanding Officer (CO).
The APS 6 Administration Officer will have excellent stakeholder management skills and will be required to communicate with, respond and provide advice to a range of stakeholders on complex operational and administrative issues to achieve Defence outcomes. They will be accountable to contribute towards ongoing self-improvement and professional development.
