**Looking to kickstart a career in procurement and logistics?**

We're seeking someone highly organised, proactive, and eager to learn. While experience in procurement or logistics is a bonus, what matters most is your ability to communicate clearly, manage tasks efficiently, and grow with the role. You'll be supported with training, systems, and ongoing guidance.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Procurement Support**
- Raise and process purchase orders in accordance with internal requests and approval workflows.
- Maintain accurate supplier and product information in procurement systems (e.g., Odoo).
- Monitor order confirmations, lead times, and delivery schedules to ensure alignment with internal needs.
- Manage backorders by tracking outstanding deliveries and communicating updates to relevant teams.
- Assist with RFQs, contract tracking, and procurement documentation.

**Logistics and Inventory Coordination**
- Support the tracking and follow-up of shipments and deliveries across multiple sites.
- Liaise with suppliers, couriers, and warehouse staff to resolve delays, delivery issues, or product discrepancies.
- Help maintain accurate stock records, including receipts, transfers, and inventory levels.
- Support documentation for incoming and outgoing goods, including freight and customs paperwork where relevant.

**Internal Helpdesk Support**
- Monitor procurement and logistics helpdesk requests from services and internal departments.
- Respond to queries and provide updates, escalating where necessary to ensure timely resolution.

**Administration and Compliance**
- Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions and supplier communications.
- Assist in preparing procurement reports, expenditure summaries, and audit documentation.
- Support continuous improvement by identifying and helping implement process enhancements.
- Ensure compliance with procurement and logistics policies and procedures.

**Key Relationships**:
**Internal**: Procurement & Logistics Manager, Finance Team, Operations Staff, Site Managers

**External**: Suppliers, Freight Providers, Couriers, Customs Agents

**Essential Criteria (Mindset over Experience)**
- **A strong interest in procurement, logistics, or business operations.**:

- **Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.**:

- **Clear written and verbal communication.**:

- **Confidence using Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).**:

- **Willingness to learn procurement systems (e.g., Odoo or similar).**:

- **Proactive mindset - takes initiative, follows up, and seeks solutions.**:

- **Ability to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks.**

**Desirable (but not essential)**
- **Any experience in purchasing, inventory, logistics, or admin roles.**:

- **Familiarity with ERP or procurement software.**:

- **Understanding of basic supply chain principles.**
