NSW Health has established a Single Digital Patient Record (SDPR) which will provide a secure, holistic and integrated view of the care a patient receives across the NSW Health system.

The SDPR program will transform how people experience and deliver care across the state, providing benefits for the people of NSW and the NSW Health workforce regardless of their location and role.

It will bring the state healthcare system together, unifying access to patient clinical information in one view. This will help to provide connected, transparent and safe care for any person at any public healthcare setting statewide. All NSW Health care teams and clinicians, no matter where they work, will securely access the same information about a patient in real time from one source.

**About the Role**

The Single Digital Patient Record Implementation Authority (SDPRIA) has been established to coordinate the implementation of the SDPR across NSW Health.

We have an exciting opportunity for an **Information Technology Trainee**to work within the SDPRIA.

Reporting into Director of Aboriginal Health - SDPRIA you will carry out duties as directed by the Supervisor/Team Leader and local Manager. The role is responsible for working effectively and efficiently in the public sector and for the provision of administrative duties and support within the business unit.

**About you**

To be successful, you will have:

- Must comply with the responsibilities relating to the Trainee Training Contract between SDPRIA, NSW State Training, the RTO, the Apprenticeship Centre and the individual. This includes the responsibility of completing structured training, working full-time and the attainment of Diploma of IT.
- Must be willing to rotate through the various NSW work locations as part of a comprehensive development program. This may require relocation for development opportunities for limited periods of time as directed by the reporting line Manager.
