**About the role**:
We are looking for an experienced Operational Technology Leader to join our Merchant Energy Engineering team on a full time permanent position. Reporting to the Head of Engineering, you will manage and deliver critical responsibilities, work cross-functionally with the engineering, asset strategy, IT and operations teams to establish and secure functioning of the SCADA/Operational Technology systems on new and existing generating facilities.

**Duties**:

- Supply advanced technical direction and leadership to the organization through the planning and implementation processes for SCADA and network systems
- Provide advanced expertise in the development of network test, validation, and integration plans on projects, and assurance of network integrity
- Ensure AESCSF compliance tasks are delivered in a complete and timely fashion
- Keeping abreast of industry and regulatory obligations, taking appropriate actions and supporting the implementation of preventative strategies
- Provide technical support and service to the operational sites and manage operational sites expectations

**Skills and experience**:

- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or other related field
- Experience with designing and maintaining of DMZ architecture for Operational Technology/SCADA network in line with Purdue Reference Model.
- Experience with industrial HMI’s, OT/SCADA network architecture
- Demonstrated experience managing budgets, business-planning and execute strategy
- Demonstrated experience in delivering and integrating multiple generation projects within the OT/SCADA environment.
- Experience in Leadership roles with the hands-on approach driving technical quality
