**What we are looking for**:
We are looking for a local Operations Specialist - Lead Fleet Technician to support our team and supervise ongoing operations. You'll be someone who is customer focused and thinks operationally.

**What you'll do**:

- Work with the Operations Manager, based in Canberra, to drive Beam’s operations across multiple operational verticals, including charging infrastructure, fleet management, warehousing and supply chain management
- Manage a team of Fleet Technicians, who are focused on repairs and maintenance of our vehicles, and Marshals, who ensure that we deliver the safest and most reliable service on the street
- Track key operational metrics and manage a tight ship
- Lead by example and ensure SOPs are followed
- Innovate and develop warehouse processes as required
- Collaborate cross functionally (strategy, marketing, policy) to ensure smooth business operations
- Assist Fleet Technicians with repairs where required

**Requirements**:

- Have previous mechanical experience, or are mechanically minded and good with tools
- Experience with people management and training
- Passion for solving problems and delivering a great customer experience
- Highly analytical and creative problem solver, with a product driven mindset
