Messaging Technician

Connect3i is hiring and we are looking for an experienced
**Messaging Technician** to work directly with our clients and join their expanding teams This position is based in Canberra or Sydney.

**About the Role**

We are looking for motivated consultants with a background as Security Technicians who love to work hard and make a real difference to their project teams. This role will see you build, manage and support the on-premise Messaging infrastructure in a multi-forest distributed environment within SEA domain SEA2273Minerva project.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Proactive maintenance, patching and upgrading of a distributed enterprise
- Development and Build defect remediation
- Analyse, log, track, and resolve complex issues pertaining to messaging
- Creation and peer review of Standard Operating Procedure documentation (SOPs), build guides and related artefacts

**About You**

Highly developed knowledge of:

- Exchange and AD administration
- Message Transfer Agents
- Microsoft Skype administration
- Experience with XMPP chat tools
- Expertise with Lotus Domino products
- Experience with VoIP trunking
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, good communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Hold and have the ability to maintain an NV2 security clearance.
