**We will count on you to**:
Mercer’s financial advice business is scaling up to support significant growth in Mercer Superannuation, with recent tripling of membership. The business provides a full spectrum of advice to members - from self service through e-advice to simple advice via the phone to comprehensive strategic advice to those who have more complex and ongoing financial needs.

The team currently services private clients, Mercer’s external superannuation trustee clients as well as the Mercer Super Trust.

The Advice Delivery Leader will report directly to the CEO, Superannuation Services and will have responsibility to ensure all advice needs to this broad client base are met through the relevant channels, in accordance with MFA business' strategies and objectives.

The leader must possess advanced industry knowledge and provide leadership and direction towards achieving team and organisation objectives and be able to ensure the advice team is able to strike the balance between providing continuing service to existing clients and growing the business, while maintaining strong compliance at all times.

The role will also be a key leadership role shaping the development and implementation of corporate and business strategy including mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, and new business innovation to grow the retail advice business.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Deliver and embed the business growth and diversification strategy for the Mercer Financial Advice business.
- Enhance Trustee engagement with financial advice capability and strategy to collaboratively develop optimal Member services
- Partner with the key stakeholders and business leaders to develop and deploy coordinated strategies to increase sales whilst improving the client experience
- Identify, prioritise and execute a plan to enhance growth and reduce barriers to growth
- Embed commercial alignment between Strategic Advice and Trustee Advice services to deliver growth
- Drive complete adoption of Xplan and Salesforce platforms and continually leverage the platforms to generate increasing productivity, transparency, and efficiency across the business
- Drive results by making decisions in a proactive, timely way and establishing priorities with clear goals and responsibilities to achieve revenue and performance obligations
- Ensuring each team member has clear goals and KPIs in place, including client and sales plans where appropriate
- Managing the day to day operations of the team and allocating resources effectively and fairly
- Ensuring professional development plans are in place and, for high performers to facilitate career progression at Mercer
- Oversee and direct recommendations regarding employment, employee performance, promotions, salary recommendations, transfers and terminations
- Build a collaborative culture in financial advice and ‘one business’ perspective, fostering effective teamwork
- Drive adherence to policy and best practices through coaching and mentoring to maximise performance, leveraging skills and strengths
- Grow Advice Services through the development and promotion of solutions to meet and improve engagement
- Lead the team to ensure excellent client service delivery through Helpline and strategic advice
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with clients, key client stakeholders and internal business partners within the wider Mercer business
- Lead the responses to and participation in corporate and industry client sales tenders
- Lead the development of tailored advice programs for workplace advice
- Achieve budget net income by managing revenue and
