**Your New Role**

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Advice Services, this role plays a pivotal part within the Advice Enablement team, which includes both Advice Assurance and Advice Services. This position is crucial in delivering the fund's Guidance and Advice offerings to members and financial advisers and working closely with the Business Development team to enhance the adviser value proposition and drive growth through advisers. The team is responsible for providing operational support to both internal and external financial advisers, while ensuring the fund meets all regulatory requirements for delivering financial advice to its members.

As the Manager, you will contribute to the strategic goal of expanding, enhancing and supporting the Guidance and Advice channel, enabling more members to access advice to achieve their best financial position in retirement.

The role involves leading the Advice Operations and Advice Implementation functions, managing both the team and the delivery of operational support and services to AustralianSuper's financial advisers and licensee network. You will also be leading and contributing to both BAU and fund initiatives, driving improvements that align with strategic priorities, including supporting the Senior Manager, Advice Services, in enhancing systems, tools, and collateral, as well as assisting with change management and implementation efforts.

Other duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to
- Lead the Advice Operations Specialist and Advice Implementation Consultant teams, fostering a high-performing, collaborative culture.
- Provide guidance, coaching, and support to enhance their capabilities and career progression.
- Monitor and manage operational risks within expected timeframes, ensuring compliance with internal policies, regulatory guidelines, and best practices.
- Identify and lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, scalability, and effectiveness across processes and systems.
- Act as a point of contact for complex issues, providing resolution and maintaining positive partnerships.
- Own the reporting framework for the financial adviser network, including regular data analysis and insights, whilst producing comprehensive reports and dashboards to track performance, identify trends, and inform decision-making.

What You’ll Need
- 3+ years’ business operations experience, preferably within financial services and financial advice.
- A track record of driving operational excellence within and beyond your team.
- RG146 certification or the willingness to obtain within the required timeframe.
- Proven people leadership experience.
- Strong knowledge of superannuation, financial advice, and regulatory environments.
- Exposure to project management and/or project delivery.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication and interpersonal skills to develop and maintain relationships across all levels, influence decision-making, and drive outcomes.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and lead change initiatives.
- Experience with CRM systems and workflow management tools.
- Knowledge of operational risk management and compliance frameworks.
