**This opportunity**

With a customer service orientation, the **Data Centre Facilities Officer** is responsible for maintaining, upgrading and the ongoing administration of the TPG Telecom Data Centres. You will be assisting with the coordination of leases, building management, lighting, air conditioning, network cabling, security and stock control. Working with all levels of staff within the business, the Facilities Officer helps ensure our facilities are up to standard and meet the needs of each department and our customers.

**Responsibilities**
- Look after the day-to-day operations across multiple physical network sites in Victoria
- Manage preventative maintenance program - raising change management requests, facilitating temporary access cards, informing site security & following up on any issues identified
- Contractor management with our various maintenance contractors and suppliers
- Manage spares storage, sorting incoming equipment (new, decommissioned) and updating the equipment database as required
- Actioning customer requests including inductions, provisioning, cancellations and audits
- Supporting the Enterprise, Government and Business Sales teams as required, eg assisting with queries in relation to our data centres

**Knowledge and experience**
- Experience in Telco, IT or data centre related
- Current drivers’ licence and own vehicle as some travel within the metro area will be required
- You will have a logical and methodical approach and good problem-solving skills
- Excellent customer service skills are a must as you will be dealing with internal and external customers
- Demonstration of attention to detail, time management and organisational skills will be highly favoured
