The Office-based Admin Officer/Receptionist is a key support role responsible for providing administrative assistance, managing front desk operations, creating a positive and welcoming environment for clients and employees. This position involves assisting with general and business relative administrative tasks, managing reception duties, and organising office-related activities, including parties and ordering office supplies.

**Your new role**
Your new role will require a “can do” attitude and effectively support the office team, partners and clients.
Admin and Reception duties will include, but will not be limited to:
- Assist in general administrative tasks such as document handling, filing, and record-keeping. To support business admin, including gradually learning and developing skills related to corporate banking daily procedures, including Know Your Customer (KYC) checks.
- Coordinate meetings and appointments, managing conference room schedules.
- Order office supplies and ensure stock levels are maintained.
- Provide support in office logistics and facilities management.
- Greet and welcome clients, visitors, and employees professionally.
- Manage incoming calls, redirecting them to the appropriate individuals or departments.
- Maintain a tidy and organised reception area.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
- Utilise previous experience to organise and coordinate office parties and events.
- Plan and execute logistics for various office-related activities.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure the success of events.
- Effectively communicate with clients, visitors, and employees.
- Assist in internal communication regarding office updates, policies, and procedures.
- Relay important information to relevant individuals or departments.
As a bonus, you should have the ability to encourage a positive team culture and provide excellent customer support.
**What you'll need to succeed**
- Excellent Chinese and English language skills.
- Previous experience as a Receptionist/Admin Officer, preferably in a corporate setting.
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Proactive attitude and ability to work independently[TR1]
- Fluent in English and Chinese (Oral and Written)
- Familiar with all GA related functions, including invoice claim, procurement, event/meeting arrangement
- Australian PR or Citizen
Desirable:
Knowledge of basic administrative procedures in a corporate bank setting.
Banking or financial institutions experience are preferred
