**Accounts Administration Officer**
Inhouse Consulting Engineers is a leading civil and structural engineering firm. We are seeking a self-motivated and experienced Accounts & Admin Officer with bookkeeping experience to join our team in Parramatta.
**Key responsibilities**:
- Answering phone calls and making inspection appointments for Engineers
- Managing and Maintaining the Work in Progress spreadsheet, including adding new jobs, recording important notes on jobs and updating job status
- Data entry
- Setting up new project folders and maintaining an efficient digital filing system
- Daily bank reconciliations
- Issuing invoices to clients and paying accounts
- Processing weekly payroll, setting up new employees in MYOB and folder
- Processing quarterly BAS, Superannuation payment
- Managing and reconciling Toll accounts and petrol cards
- Stationery and office supplies orders
- General admin and reception duties
**Skills Required**:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in office administration
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience in managing a busy switchboard with professional phone manner
- Experience of bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable functions and payroll processing
- Proficient in MYOB or similar is a must
- Exceptional time management skills
- Professional approach with the ability to multi-task and prioritise
- Skilled in MS Suite programs, especially MS Excel.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
- PARRAMATTA, NSW 2150: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
