**Purpose of the Role**

BGIS is seeking an experienced Accounts & Office Administrator to support both financial and administrative functions as part of our Department of Communities and Justice contract. Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, you will work closely with internal teams and contractors to manage accounts, reporting, and compliance documentation with accuracy and timeliness.

This is an enhanced position and presents an exciting opportunity for someone with an accounting or finance background who is looking to make their mark in a dynamic, fast-paced team.

Highly organised, detail-oriented, and proactive with strong communication skills. You’ll be comfortable working both independently and as part of a collaborative team, with an eye for continuous improvement and stakeholder support.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Manage accounts receivable and payable, ensuring accuracy and timeliness; investigate and resolve discrepancies
- Manage and prepare Requests for Funds (RFF) with supporting documentation
- Support monthly reporting and ensure contractual compliance with KPIs
- Provide general administrative support to the team including registers, filing, and meeting minutes
- Assist with finance-related queries from suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams
- Validate invoices using relevant systems and tools to ensure accuracy and compliance with contract terms

**Education, Experience & Skills**

**Essential**:

- Previous experience in an accounts or finance administration role
- Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
- Excellent attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving abilities
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritise in a deadline-driven environment

**Desirable**:

- Diploma in Accounting or Finance
- Familiarity with ERP systems and AI tools
- Experience supporting contract compliance or KPI reporting
