Richmond Oysters is a 60 year old family business with three generations of seafood wholesale, retail and restaurant experience. We are one of Melbourne's most highly recognized seafood suppliers, in operation since 1959, with a 7-day production and distribution service to restaurants, cafes, pubs, bars, reception venues and caterers.

We are searching for a passionate, attentive and detail driven individual to be part of a our Sales and Procurement office administration team. We place a high emphasis on customer satisfaction, operating a same/next day delivery service for stock lines and order in item. Our product lines include a full production offering of fresh fish, crustaceans, molluscs and bivalves with a focus on daily shucked oysters and market selected seafood. We also supply a full suite of fresh, frozen and dry goods including seafood, small goods, dairy, sauces, pantry items, consumables, cleaning products and special orders.

**About the Role**

We are looking for an Accounts Receivable officer/Collections officer for our newly expanded food service facility in Knoxfield. This role is an exciting opportunity for a driven individual with a passion for excellence in customer service and record keeping as well as accuracy of data sets.

Your keen eye for details and excellent communication, listening & computer skills will vitally support the rest of the team in providing a customer focused environment that delivers on quality, timeliness and personalisation.
- Experience in data entry via an SQL database program (experience with E-Technique/NEXUS will be a favourable bonus)
- Excellent Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Be able to learn new tasks and focus strongly on detail and process
- Be able to work within a diverse team environment
- Have the ability to work a full time roster, and be flexible to work extended hours when seasonal or other business demands dictate.

**Duties include**:
Accounts Receivable Collection Duties:

- Overdue debt collection & payment plan co-ordination
- Issuing debtor statements
- Reconciliation of debtor accounts
- Initiate + coordinate collection activities daily

**General Duties**:

- Nexus (ETQ) Database basic maintenance including debtor contacts, creditor contacts, stock items, warehouse locations and delivery runs
- Administration tasks as management requires
- General data entry and administration
- Maintenance of onenote database
- Provide assistance to our account managers
