This role is in the ‘Trade Digital Squad’ in the Commodities, Trade & Carbon(CTC) crew (IB&M). The squad's purpose is to provide leading digital experiences through safe, stable, scalable, and resilient platforms.
We deliver cutting-edge technology solutions that serve business & institutional customers across our relationship managed customer segments of the bank. Our mission is to empower businesses to thrive using the technology of tomorrow. By leveraging digital tools, our Crew aims to elevate the customer experience and deliver exceptional products and services. This role reports to an Experience Design Chapter Lead.

You will align and work closely with the Experience Design Chapter in the Institutional Bank and Business Bank to ensure consistency across operating rhythm and design practices.

**Your skills and experience**

You are an enthusiastic problem-solver with great visualisation skills, who has the following?
- 5+ years of UX/UI design with a strong emphasis on UI Design, interaction and visual story telling
- Ability to create high-fidelity UI designs, interactive prototypes and design specs that align to business objectives and technical requirements
- Expertise in design tools (e.g., Figma) and frameworks, with a portfolio showcasing exceptional design outcomes. Experience collaborating with engineers to implement design systems at scale, ensuring reusability and consistency across platforms.
- Strong experience in rapid prototyping, quickly testing and iterating ideas to validate design decisions. Experience working in either lean or agile, cross functional team to deliver impactful solutions.A growth mindset with proactive approach to problem solving, learning and refining designs

- Knowledge of human-centered design principles and accessibility standards, combined with an understanding of technical implementation (e.g., front-end frameworks like React) to align design with engineering execution.
- A proven track record of delivering impactful initiatives, fast-paced environment, including managing design-to-development handoffs, integrating design systems into engineering workflows, and delivering projects with technical constraints.
- Strong strategic thinking skills, leveraging analytics, customer insights, and technical feasibility considerations to inform high-level design decisions and align with engineering strategies.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence decision-making at all levels. Demonstrated success in fostering collaboration between design and engineering teams, bridging the gap between creative vision and technical delivery.A resilient, pragmatic approach to managing competing priorities, balancing creative aspirations with engineering realities to deliver outcomes that meet both business and technical goals.
