- Easy Authoring is seeking a Change and Configuration Specialist to support large programs of major technology modernization._

**Purpose Of role**:
In this role you will be supporting large programs of major technology modernization. The work is of paramount importance to some key transformational programs of work that are underway.

**Key Responsibilities include**:

- To maintain interim SharePoint CMDB and ensure currency and accuracy in various sources of IT asset information.
- Leading the development, maintenance, and implementation of the Config Management standards, plans, and procedures
- To diligently perform change reviews and approval of all Digital Changes
- Ensuring all Digital teams align to Change and Config framework

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Review and understand procedural and governance documents for the management of IT Assets and IT Asset data.
- Utilise legacy repositories of IT Asset data, including SharePoint and MS Excel, and maintain Business Attribute and Technical Attribute data
- Conduct a full physical audit of Data Centre equipment, update and maintain in legacy IT Asset data repositories.
- Engage with IT Asset Owners and Asset Management Process Owner to update physical IT Asset lifecycle control procedures
- Engage with Service Owners and Product Owners through a full audit of Application/Technology Business Attribute data and update legacy IT Asset data repositories
- Engage Technology Service Owners to source defined Technical Attribute data from Master Data Sources, identify deltas, and update legacy IT Asset data repositories
- Engage with Architecture and Change Management forums to identify triggers for Business Attribute and Technical Attribute data changes and maintain legacy IT Asset data repositories
- Provide regular, consistent reporting on current status of IT Asset data audit activities
- Write procedural documents for the interim maintenance and governance of legacy IT Asset data repositories
- Direct analysis and discussions through workshops and interviews to elicit targeted business requirements that are fit for purpose
- Collect and analyse information to create viable recommendations to business and technical stakeholders
- Lead the development and identification of the KPIs for CMS
- Review and publish configuration management reports
- To diligently perform change reviews and approval of all Digital Changes
- Ensuring all Digital teams align to Change and Config framework
