**What you’ll be doing**:
In this role, you will support the delivery of highly complex transformation programs and projects in Flight Operations demonstrating competency as it relates to a program-level OCM Management, adopting best practice (the VA Leading Change Framework) to improve the chances of transformational success, and accelerate value where possible, across the Flight Operations department.

Working alongside the Flight Operations Leadership Team, to design, deliver and sustain the successful delivery of the 3-year transformation plan and strategic Flight Operations business change priorities. The role is hands-on, delivery focused with elements of advisory support, providing timely, insight-driven and well thought-through change management advice and support to the General Manager Flight Operations and the Flight Operations Leadership Team. Contributing to building enterprise change capability is also an element of the role.

You will work very closely, and partner with, the Project and Program Managers, People Business Partners (HR) and other consultants working within Flight Operations. You will work alongside the Head of Organisational Change Management, the Flight Operations Leadership Team (FOLT) and across the broader Operations Function. You may also be involved in activities, workshops and planning sessions with the Transformation Team, Group Strategy and the IT Change Portfolio OCM.

**You’ll be great in this role if you have**:

- Extensive experience with leading and managing change at a business or programmatic level.
- Hands on experience in planning and executing complex change programs.
- Ability to determine the change complexity of programs/initiatives and can recommend “right-sized” effort, capability & resourcing requirements to set delivery up for success
- Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement capabilitiesas you interface with senior leaders, stakeholders and teams
- Certification in Organisational Change Management such as PROSCI
- Experienced in using a range of tools and methodologies to support engagement, sponsorship or change readiness and being prepared to adopt the Leading Change Framework to deliver best practice change management within the Flight Operations portfolio
- Ability to work creatively in a constrained environment where “best practice” and maturity is still evolving
- Strong ability to remain focused on delivering to the plan but remaining flexible and adaptive to change as required
