**The Role**
As the principal records manager for Infrastructure Division (ID), you have the unique opportunity to implement innovative solutions on how we manage our Divisional information.

Some of the key duties of this role are:

- Manage information and records management activities in accordance with the Archives Act 1983, relevant legislation and Defence policies and procedures.
- Take the initiative to develop and implement information and records management procedures to achieve continuous improvement.
- Conduct compliance monitoring and reporting activities for systems and practices.
- Assist in the development and delivery of training on information and records management responsibilities, principles and processes.

**About our Team**
The Directorate of Business Improvement & Governance (DBIG) within Estate Planning Branch is responsible for business governance and corporate functions across Infrastructure Division (ID) and support to Estate programs and projects.

Working collaboratively as part of the Information and Knowledge management team we oversee a range of ID interests including records management functions and administration of Objective.

Other functions include oversight of ID interests in GEMS deliverables and management of Estate Investment Requirements (EIRs). We work closely with the Governance & Secretariat and Project Support areas within DBIG and other areas across the Branch and Division.
- Create and foster functioning networks and relationships with internal and external stakeholders;
- Work collaboratively with ID stakeholders to ensure advice to personnel and manage the priorities and needs to achieve outcomes;
- Have a demonstrated understanding and background in Objective Management including file and repository management;
- Have excellent communication and time management skills.
