**Your new company**

You will join a small to medium Federal Government agency as they partner with governments, industry, publicly funded research organisations and academia to provide specialist expertise and information to support the delivery of Australian Government services. You will join a small, high-performing section that are responsible for the governance, risk management (including compliance), corporate performance, planning and reporting and the Secretariat function. Information and Records Management plays an important role across governance and risk management and works closely with a number of stakeholders responsible.

**Your new role**

The Information and Records Management Team Leader is responsible for leadership of a small team to deliver better practice administration, management, advice and training in keeping with _Building Trust in the Public Record. As part of this, you will be responsible for;_
- Support the development of an Information Asset Management Framework, and develop strategies and policies to facilitate implementation of relevant legislation and subordinate instruments.
- Develop and provide advice and training to uplift capability in information and records management consistent with whole of government better practice including tools that enable access to information such as controlled vocabularies, ontologies and taxonomies.
- Effectively supervise and contribute to the daily tasks and responsibilities of the Information and Records Management Team (10 people).

**What you'll need to succeed**

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Significant experience in administering and managing information and records using an Electronic Document Records Management System (EDRMS), preferably Content Manager 10.1
- Extensive technical SharePoint Administration experience including the ability to integrate with business systems
- Experience assessing IT business systems for their potential to be “manage-in-place” records systems
