**About this opportunity**

The Quality and Compliance Officer is a crucial role, empowering our business by providing clinical oversight to remain compliant within Aged Care Clinical Governance and Compliance and ensuring we can provide the best care, the right way, to our clients.

This is a wonderful opportunity for someone with a clinical/nursing background who will be responsible for directing, implementing, and refining the quality standards. This role will support our teams across Central Coast & Newcastle and would spend time between our offices in Belmont and Daley’s Point.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Review complex clients care plans and provide clinical oversight on their needs as required
- Manage the internal and external auditing, self-assessment and file audit processes relating to Approved Service Provider and accreditation, ISO accreditation and the Aged Care Quality Standards and Reforms
- Work with the Leadership Team to identify compliance gaps or areas of the business that need improvement to ensure compliance
- Managing quality and compliance processes including incident management, monitoring feedback/trends and looking at process improvement

**About you**
- Must have clinical experience and qualification / Registered Nurse or other APHRA registration
- Experience in Aged Care and understanding of relevant Aged Care Standards
- Experience Care Plans or Home Care Packages desirable
- Experience in a Quality, Risk or Auditor role and an understanding of Quality Management Systems, auditing processes, risk mitigation and Workplace Health and Safety.
- Strong organisational skills, time management skills and a competency with computers or technology
- Willingness and ability to travel between Daley’s Point and Belmont when required, including for client visits/reviews with the Care Management team
