
Quality Support Officer

Are you an experienced governance professional with the ability to partner with boards and senior leadership to deliver strategic outcomes? We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Quality Support Officer to join a Risk & Compliance Department.
About the Role
In this key support role, you'll provide high-level administrative and coordination assistance to three senior managers and a team of ten, helping keep governance, quality, and compliance systems running smoothly across the organisation.

Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day administrative and coordination support to the Risk & Compliance team.
- Maintain the quality systems and document libraries (over 2,000 policies and procedures).
- Manage departmental inboxes and ensure timely responses.
- Support the Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) Committee, including agenda preparation, minute-taking and action tracking.
- Assist with accreditation, audits and submissions to regulatory bodies.
- Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
- Provide specialised support activities related to the control and monitoring of Business Rules documentation.
- Assist with the preparation of applications, submissions, and self-assessments relating to Accreditation or Certification processes.
- Assist in the preparation of annual mandatory submissions (e.g. GPMS and Key Personnel) to Accreditation Bodies, as directed by Risk and Compliance Management.
- Maintain database records of all Business Rules amendment processes and undertake distribution of amendments.
Required Skills and Experiences
- Strong administrative or Executive Assistant background.
- Excellent attention to detail, taking pride in getting the details right.
- Highly organised, process-driven and comfortable managing competing priorities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to liaise confidently with senior leaders.
- Intermediate Word and basic Excel skills; SharePoint experience highly regarded.
- High level of integrity and discretion when dealing with confidential information.
- Experience in aged care, not-for-profit or quality/compliance environments (Desirable).
- A proactive, adaptable self-starter who thrives in structured environments and enjoys helping a busy team stay organised.
