**The Company**

ROC Consulting are proud to again be recruiting in Queensland for a major supplier of high-quality lighting and electrical products. The business is now a large player in the electrical market and prides themselves on their broad and high-quality range of products. They're a preferred supplier to many major wholesalers and have existing accounts in every state.

Their product range includes a variety of commercial and industrial products such as:

- Industrial & minesite lighting
- Downlights
- Panels and Troffers
- Shop and retail
- Batterns and Linear
- Highbays
- Floodlights, and more

**The Vacancy**

Due to a strong sales performance in the QLD region, the company has decided to appoint a new salesperson to manage and grow the territory. This individual will manage relationships with existing and new electrical wholesalers, develop and grow accounts through electricians and will be the key point of contract for the business.

Responsibilities will include:

- Manage relationships with current electrical wholesale branches (branch managers, 2IC, ordering, estimating etc)
- Territory includes: Southern Brisbane, Logan, Gold Coast and Northern NSW
- Expand relationships into new electrical wholesalers
- Promote the brand through selling to electricians and contractors
- Hands on presentations of new to markets products
- Develop long-term sales and marketing initiatives in conjunction with management

This position will work autonomously from a home office and can be based anywhere between South Brisbane to Gold Coast or northern NSW.

**Criteria Required**

To be considered for this position, you'll need to satisfy the below criteria:

- Proven successful background of B2B sales
- Electrical or lighting industry experience (wholesale electrical channel preferred)
- BDM sales experience
- Clear communication & genuine passion for success
- Hunger for uncapped earnings & big commissions
- The ability to self-motivate and operate unsupervised
- High level time management
