About The Job
We are a leading distributor of high-quality Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) and laboratory supplies to compounding pharmacies across Australia. Our mission is to support pharmacists in delivering customized, high-quality medications that improve patient health. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dedicated and driven Account Manager to join our team in order to take ownership of client relationships and grow sales.

Key Responsibilities
As an Account Manager, you will be critical in building strong relationships with pharmacy clients, ensuring smooth order processing, increasing product usage and acting as a knowledgeable liaison between our business and our clients.

  • Client Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for our top-100 compounding pharmacy clients across Australia.

  • Build long-term relationships with existing accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Understand client needs, workflows and preferences to provide personalised service and solutions.

  • Sales & Account Growth

  • Promote our range of APIs, excipients, lab equipment and packaging solutions.

  • Identify opportunities to increase sales within existing accounts and cross-sell related products.
  • Proactively manage our sales pipeline.

  • Order Support & Coordination

  • Work closely with internal teams (e.g., logistics, regulatory, customer service) to ensure accurate and timely order fulfilment.

  • Assist clients with product selection, pricing, availability and order tracking.

  • Product & Industry Knowledge

  • Develop in-depth knowledge of our product portfolio and stay informed about regulatory changes (e.g., TGA guidelines) that may impact customers.

  • Provide clients with product information, usage guidance and documentation support (e.g., COAs, SDSs, compounding support).

  • Reporting & Accounts Management

  • Maintain up-to-date records of client interactions, quotes and orders in our accounts management system.

  • Provide regular reporting on account activity, opportunities and sales performance.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven experience in account management, B2B sales or customer service, preferably in the pharmaceutical, healthcare or life sciences sector.
  • Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • A friendly demeanour towards clients and colleagues, with the ability to work as an integral part of a tight-knit team.
  • Impeccable written English, with high attention to spelling and grammar.
  • Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously and follow up on actionable tasks.
  • Comfortable with accounting systems such as MYOB, email platforms and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A science or pharmacy-related background (e.g., BSc, Pharmacy Technician) is a plus but not essential.
