This Government Department are seeking numerous cyber security officers to join their growing team.

This highly sought after and agile Government Department is key in delivering Australia’s policies and programs to improve and maintain the law and justice frameworks.

Your new role
There are numerous positions available in a newly established team that has been created. You will be responsible for safeguarding the departments systems and critical information.
Your duties may include but won’t be limited to:

- You will be working across the vulnerability management platform
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
- Analysing data sets to identify unusual or anomalous behaviour
- Performing administration tasks in a Windows environment

What you need to succeed

To be successful in this role your background should include the following;
- Understanding of basic networking principles
- Working knowledge of the ISM, PSPF and Essential8 program
- Previous experience in security incident analysis
- Experience working with two or more of the following; logging/SIEM tools, vulnerability scanners, PAM solutions, etc
- A minimum of a Negative Vetting 1 clearance is required for this position
