**About the Role**:

NHP are currently looking for a commercially minded, dynamic, and supportive Sales Leader to take our NSW business to the next level.
Do you have leadership qualities people can only aspire to have? Are you strong in Sales and do you enjoy managing, coaching, developing & mentoring a team, then this role is built for you
Reporting to the State Manager - NSW / ACT, you will provide effective leadership and management to a high-performance Sales team for all sales activities, to ensure that budgeted revenue and margin targets are achieved. You will work with other business leaders to ensure NSW / ACT growth strategies are leading edge, providing a framework and guidance on the creation and implementation of dynamic product-based strategies.
Responsibilities include:
- Lead effective and best practice activities across the sales team to exceed annual targets for sales, margin, growth priorities and customer satisfaction
- Lead and play a hands-on role in identifying target markets and assisting the Leadership team in focusing on the right areas
- Build and maintain a sales team with the product knowledge and standards required to meet the needs of our customer base and growth expectations of our organisation
- Manage business relationships with customers and stakeholders
- Provide training to key customers
- Ensure all demons/displays are kept up to date for their range
- Develop growth plans, including market requirements for new offers, segment focus, customer evolutions and required resources
- Collaborate with other sales divisions of NHP and functional teams in planning and implementing specific projects as requested
**Ideally you will have / be**:
- Industry sector experience, with an understanding of the construction market and how the Electrical industry dovetails within it
- Well established connections in the industry - Power & Distribution, Electrical Contractors, Specifiers, Switchboard Builders & Developers
- Strong negotiation & sales experience with a successful track record of delivering results
- Experience in preparing tenders, quotations and sales proposals
- A strong people leader, with demonstrated skills in growing and developing sales teams
- An outstanding communicator who thrives on building strong relationships & listens to their customers and teams needs
- Highly motivated, focused and determined with persistence to succeed
- Effective time management & organizational skills
To be considered for this role, you will have a combination of strong Sales experience, coupled with exceptional leadership & management experience to influence, support and guide your team.
