**About the Role**
The Process Sustainability Specialist is responsible for analysing and evaluating productivity, quality, and sustainability of processes for the Company and its customers.The purpose of the role is to assist customers with identifying, articulating, developing, and implementing measurement and data analysis solutions. These solutions are intended to improve operational efficiency and enhance sustainability through cost reduction, environmental impact, reduced energy consumption, improved waste management, resource utilisation, and impact on societal and personnel health and safety.

The Process Sustainability Specialist is well versed in data analysis practices and techniques, has deep knowledge across domains such as environmental management and research, and has the ability to rapidly grasp complex systems, analyse, and evaluate the outcomes with consideration for customer and stakeholder objectives.

**Data and Statistics**

Define solutions based on customer business and technology needs
Support projects in managing data acquisition and handling
Keep knowledge up to date regarding emerging practices and standards participating in professional organisations
Plan and attend training related to current and emerging technologies
Run workshops including any vendor/partner meetings to establish pragmatic solutions and resolve complex problems typically associated with data projects

**Sustainability**

Identify opportunities for improved sustainability for customers and internal stakeholders
Undertake research activities with the aim of improving the environmental sustainability of customer operations, balancing against all other forms of sustainability
Develop detailed solutions, policies and procedures regarding environmental sustainability for clients and internal stakeholders

**Qualifications & Experience**
Minimum Bachelors in ecology, environmental sciences, biological sciences or another relevant field
Post-graduate qualifications in the field of ecology or other relevant discipline highly regarded
Experience developing and executing independent environmental research and analysis
Experience in the management, handling, and analysis of complex data sets
Experience working in an Industrial context is highly regarded

**Key Skills**
Significant expertise in environmental research and management
Intermediate to advanced coding and programming skills using programming languages such as R, SQL, Python, Bash, MATLAB or similar
Experience in UNIX-like environments desirable
Advanced skills in statistical analysis
Demonstrate excellent written/verbal communication skills with both non-technical and technical audiences
Ability to work autonomously

**Salary**: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
