**About the role**
The City of Glen Eira is seeking a dynamic and experienced community planner to step into a five-month temporary role backfilling an employee on leave. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to strategic planning across the Community Wellbeing Directorate and lead a high-impact project focused on the development of a Community Infrastructure Plan that will help shape the future of our vibrant and diverse community.

You will work within the Community Wellbeing Directorate, reporting directly to the Director, and collaborate to deliver strategic outcomes that enhance the health, wellbeing, cohesion and connectedness of our community.

Over the next five months, the key priority for this role is to continue the development of a Community Infrastructure Plan for Glen Eira, and specifically, tasks will include, but not be limited to:

- project management
- using an online modelling tool to collect data and create reports and undertake analysis
- engage with internal and external stakeholders to gather insights
- provide strategic advice and recommendations to senior leadership
- participate in and inform strategic property reviews and forward planning
- ensure integration of community infrastructure planning with broader wellbeing services and strategies

**About you**
You are a strategic thinker with a passion for social planning, community wellbeing and infrastructure planning.

You will have formal tertiary qualifications in relevant field/s along with proven and extensive experience in strategic planning, policy development, and project leadership ideally in community infrastructure planning.

You will possess strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, have the ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and deliver high-quality outcomes within tight timeframes.
