**The role has the following accountabilities in conjunction with other team members**:

- In partnership with the Head of Corporate Communications, develop and execute internal communications strategies and plans to help drive the strategic, operational and cultural values of Citi Australia with the engagement of executives and employees
- In partnership with the Head of Corporate Communications, develop and execute external communications campaigns that enhance and protect Citi’s reputation in the public sphere
- Support with issues management across stakeholder groups including internal, external and regulatory.
- Effectively manage stakeholders including senior executives, members of the human resources team and departmental managers, to help communicate their business goals or research content ideas
- Counsel senior management on effective internal and external communications; using creativity and strategic thinking.
- Manage and support launch of new communications initiatives and programs; maintain and improve existing programs
- Manage and work with vendors including designers, web developers and marketing communications professionals to create communications materials, such as digital communications, video, EDM, newsletter, report, presentation and etc.
- Work closely with the Corporate Affairs team locally and globally on major initiatives and projects.

**Experience Required**:

- Previous communications experience in a PR agency or in-house role, must include Financial Services
- Strong understanding of internal communications strategies and the media landscape
- Exceptional writing and editing skills
- Ability to think creatively to deliver programmes that engages and connects with all employees and stakeholders
- Excellent organisational capabilities
- Attention to detail
- The ability to meet deadlines
- Strong team player
- Ability to develop internal networks
- The ability to use design software to create graphics for social media, digital screens or invitation templates is desired but not crucial
