**The Role**
Within the Royal Australian Navy, Training Force (TF) has undergone a significant transformation to ensure we are able to meet the future training demand, as well as the learner’s expectations of the larger future Navy workforce, within a continuous shipbuilding context that is delivering newer and more complex capabilities over the next 50 years.

The Business Intelligence Officer role sits within the Business Optimisation team whose primary purpose is to provide ongoing development and review of Training Force Systems enabling all personnel to deliver outcomes in the most effective manner to achieve Training Force’s mission. The team optimise strategies and practices to find efficient ways of working through improved workflows, frameworks and systems.

As the Business Intelligence Officer, you will be responsible for coordinating and improving the data analytics and visualisation capability for reporting requirements to exploit opportunities and manage risks of Training Force.

Responsibilities include:

- coordination of data extraction and transformation,
- data analysis / visualisation and the development,
- testing and maintenance of analytical reports / dashboards.

**About our Team**
The Business Optimisation Team sits within the Deputy Commode Training Directorate at Navy Training Force Headquarters. The team provides business optimisation services to Training Force to enable timely, efficient and accurate decision-making. The team aims to identify and implement new methods and processes that seek to redesign and streamline, ensuring a continual improvement cycle is in place. This role reports to the Business Intelligence Officer and is located at Training Force Headquarters, Campbell Park.

The Business Intelligence Officer will be a team player with excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills, highly developed organisational skills and a proven record of supporting multi-disciplinary teams toward required outcomes. You will utilise numerous information systems for the input, maintenance and analysis of data.
