As a Project Administrator, you will be working on a variety of internal and customer projects, ensuring that all projects and tasks are completed on time and within scope. This includes managing the deployment of hardware and software, coordinating projects, and maintaining effective communication with stakeholders (which is pretty easy as we’re all nice people).
This is a part-time role - four days a week.
6-month contract, with possible extension. Pay rate pro-rata.
The Role
- Assist the Project Manager in overseeing and managing projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Develop project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate project and stakeholder meetings, ensuring clear communication and follow-up on action items.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, maintaining regular communication and providing updates on project status.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure their requirements are met.
- Track project metrics and prepare monthly and quarterly project status reports, including progress, risks, and mitigation strategies.
- Ensure accurate documentation and records for projects and tasks.
- Maintain effective communication within the team to ensure everyone is aligned with project goals and timelines.
- Address and resolve any internal communication issues or conflicts while promoting a collaborative and positive work environment.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Project Administrator, or similar role.
- Experience in stakeholder management and reporting.
- Project management qualifications are an advantage.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
**Skills**:
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills. Able to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Able to interact effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Experience in stakeholder management and reporting.
- Knowledge of IT operations, including hardware and software deployment and maintenance an advantage.
