On 1 July 2024, the National Firearms Register (NFR) Implementation Program commenced. The NFR will function as a unified system information from existing Commonwealth, state and territory firearms registries, portals and management platforms into one centralised database. This will provide national oversight by providing a clear end to end view of firearms, ownership and licensing information across all states and territories. The NFR will enhance police and community safety and improve law enforcement capability
**About the role**:
We're looking for an experienced Organisational Change Manager (OCM) to support the delivery of a major national technology transformational program. The focus is on driving successful adoption of the new policies, processes, services and systems in support of the National Firearms Register.
Victoria Police is a contemporary and agile workplace and supports flexible working arrangements.
**Your duties will include**:
- Lead end-to-end change management involving multiple project streams and functions.
- Partner closely with internal functions and project delivery teams to understand impacts and ensure effective change planning and execution.
- Lead the development and delivery of change artefacts - including change impact assessments, communications and training plans, stakeholder engagement plan and business readiness assessments.
- Support the development of the program delivery plan and aligning multiple streams that sit within the program.
- Build strong relationships across a broad stakeholder group, from senior management level -level through to frontline employees and external stakeholders and clients.
- Monitor and manage change risks and issues, ensuring alignment with overall project timelines and milestones.
**About You**:
- Able to respond to organisational change and pressures in a measured way.
- Ability to plan and prioritise by effectively and consistently prioritising work and delivering key accountabilities.
- Able to problem solve and demonstrate decision making by thinking critically to identify the core of problems and issues and make considered and timely decisions.
- Effectively communicate with confidence in both verbal and written formats to a range of audiences.
- Ability to create buy-in, agreement and support with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience in change planning and implementation, as well as project management methodologies.
**Further Information**:
- One (1) x full-time, fixed term position until 30 June 2028 available.
- This position is located at Victoria Police Centre, 311 Spencer Street, Docklands.
