Step into a regional/ corporate Commercial Manager role
- Oversee portfolio of circa $50m worth of projects across QLD & WA

**About Our Client**
With multi-disciplined engineering capabilities within the civil construction, mining, and building sector with highly regarded public and private clients, our client has continued to thrive through challenging markets and come out with a robust business and a lean QLD/ WA business unit set to continue their growth over the coming years.

Our client is seeking to engage a motivated and astute Commercial Manager to take a corporate role within the Brisbane office, providing contract and commercial support to the business primarily at precontracts, but also at the delivery stage of projects across QLD and WA.

**About You**
You will be career-minded, and looking for a long-term opportunity, where you are willing to learn from some of the most respected leaders in the business. You will also need to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:

- Relevant Tertiary Qualifications (Quantity Surveying/ Construction Management etc)
- 10+ years of relevant industry experience with significant experience working in the Australian construction or civil construction sector.
- Practical experience working with AS4000, AS2124 and other standard forms of contract
- Extensive experience reviewing and assessing form of contracts proposed by prospective clients, identify risk, and negotiating on risks that fall outside of company acceptable policies.
- Ability to draft contracts, provide support on commercial and legal strategies for tender
- Previous experience working with a subcontractor in the civil construction sector is highly advantageous/ desirable
- Possess the ability to communicate effectively, work across multiple projects and complete sound financial reports.
- You will have excellent commercial acumen and strong negotiation capabilities retaining your tact when dealing with clients.
