**About the role**

We have an opportunity for a **Finance Officer** to be part of our Business Services Unit, Technology & Communication Services Command. The Finance Officer is responsible for delivering a range of accounting and finance support services and advice on the business units' financial position and performance. The role of the Finance Officer is to supervise a team to ensure financial and administrative support is delivered within the business unit.

**Target Question 1**:
Working as the Finance Officer you are required to communicate effectively with all staff, some who have no knowledge or experience of financial processes and administration. Provide an example of how you have used your customer service skills to obtain the information that you require to complete your role effectively.

**Target Question 2**:
The Finance officer completes various finance activities and will need to scrutinise process and monitor financial transactions accurately and within set timeframes. Detail your experience with these types of transactions and explain what financial policies and procedures may apply.
