**Finance Officer - Healthcare Recruitment**

**1Medical** is a specialist medical recruitment company that **provides doctors** to hospitals and clinics across **Australia, New Zealand **and **Europe**.

Due to continued growth 1Medical are seeking a **Finance Officer** to join our Finance Team being based full time from our central Sydney Office.

**Main Responsibilities will be**:

- Timesheet checking, processing and approval
- Management of part of our payroll function - namely the first stage as above and creating payment reports for internal and external payment processing
- Chasing missing timesheets with staff on a bi-weekly basis;
- Chasing of debt with our clients
- Maintaining and creating monthly/quarterly information spreadsheets for licences and tender KPIs reports
- Liaising with our clients in regard to missing information for invoices;
- Working side by side with our consultants to answer any questions they may and to follow up on any changes / errors they require fixing
- Internal Reviews of Contracts added to the system to aid with continuous improvement and training
- Process improvement works to focus on streamlining and strengthening finance processes
- Collecting various finance forms / information from hospitals across the country
- Working with our operations team to keep our internal information and process guides up to date

**Key skills**

Although not essential, experience as a finance officer within a medical recruitment agency, a hospital / medical centre or another fast paced contract recruitment market would be highly desired.
- Extremely detail orientated;
- Processing awareness to identify anomalies;
- Processing experience of at least 2 years;
- Previous experience in process improvement (desired, not required)
- Great written and verbal communication skills
