Are you a creative storyteller with a passion for arts and culture? A leading institution in the museum sector is seeking a dynamic **Marketing and Communications Manager** to lead strategic communications and raise public awareness of its exhibitions, programs, and mission.

**About the Role**

This full-time position plays a key leadership role in shaping and delivering the Museum’s marketing and communications strategy. With a strong focus on audience development and brand visibility, you'll be responsible for increasing public engagement across a wide range of channels.

A flexible work arrangement is available, including the option to work from home up to two days per week, depending on the needs of the role.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing and communications strategies.
- Increase awareness and engagement with the Museum among diverse audiences, including local communities and tourists to the Yarra Valley.
- Produce and manage content across digital platforms, including social media, e-newsletters, and website updates, ensuring consistency of voice and messaging.
- Collaborate with our brand agency, Paoli Smith, on design briefs for invitations and promotional materials.
- Maintain strong relationships with tourism bodies, media advisors, and other stakeholders.
- Supervise and support the Marketing Assistant.
- Ensure all marketing materials are accurate and appropriately credited.
- Attend Museum events and provide support as required (some after-hours work may be necessary).

**Requirements**:

- Demonstrated experience in a senior marketing role, ideally within the arts, cultural, or tourism sectors.
- Relevant Bachelor Qualification.
- Strong writing, content creation, and digital marketing skills.
- Excellent project management and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- A current driver's licence and access to a registered vehicle for travel to and from work.
- A valid Working with Children Check and Criminal History Check (or willingness to obtain).

**Working Hours**
- Standard hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm (with a 40-minute lunch break).
- Flexibility is required to support after-hours events and programming.
