**Description**:
Reporting to the Sales Director, you will spearhead the strategic and operational management of a broad portfolio of Manassen Foods' products within Woolworths Supermarkets. Your mission is to champion the customer internally and ensure alignment with Woolworths’ broader strategy, whilst utilizing your commercial breadth & depth of knowledge to drive best practice execution and cross-functional collaboration.
**Key Responsibilities will include**:
**Sales Strategy and Financial Deliverables**: Assume P&L responsibilities for categories within Woolworths whilst collaborating with internal Brand and Category teams to develop and implement strategic vision and tactical plans that address business priorities.
**Customer Management**: Cultivate and sustain robust trading relationships across various functions and tiers within the Woolworths business, overseeing critical timelines for category review process and JCPs for set categories.
**Forecasting**: Oversee sales inputs for the Integrated Business Planning cycle, including financial forecasting and action planning. Ensure collaborative efforts with Woolworths for accurate forecasting of promotions, baselines sales and innovation.
**Communication**: Work closely with Brand and Category teams to meet customer expectations and address category priorities.
**Cross-Functional Collaboration**: Work closely with other departments, including Brand and Category, Finance and Commercial etc to ensure alignment and support cross-functional projects that drive business growth.
**Skills and Experience**:
Extensive experience in a senior sales or category management role within the FMCG industry, with a track record of managing major retail accounts.
Motivated to own a process and accept accountability for performance.
Have a keen eye for continuous improvement and the willingness to adapt as required.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including to build relationships with a variety. of internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
Proven experience in an organisation with a well-functioning IBP/S&OP cycle.
A university degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred but not essential.
