Our Vision is for a community that works together to advance community life. About the Role Bundoora Homestead Art Centre is the public art gallery for the City of Darebin, hosting contemporary visual arts and craft exhibitions and an onsite café set in a heritage mansion and gardens.

This position plays a key role in the Art & Collections Unit which oversees visual art services within the City of Darebin. The Operations Team Leader oversees facility management of Bundoora Homestead Art Centre and supervises operational matters that contribute to a positive and inclusive visitor experience.
- Oversee Front of House procedures and activities to ensure that an exceptional level of customer service is provided to gallery and cafe visitors, workshop and event participants, artists and hirers.
- Implement appropriate bookings, ticketing, reception and administrative procedures to support the activities of BHAC including oversight of the Front of House manual
- Provide supportive leadership, management and training to the Visitor Services Officers and Cafe Assistant at Bundoora Homestead and oversee their rostering
- Assist the Art & Collections Coordinator with financial processes and reporting
- Assist in developing security, OH&S, and facility maintenance procedures

**Skills & Experience**
- Highly developed administrative and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including telephone and face to face.
- Previous experience working in a public arts/cultural/heritage facility
- Ability to understand security and OH&S requirements for public buildings.
- Experience in staff management and supervision.
