About the team
TikTok's SMB team aims to help businesses and brands of all sizes unleash their creative side, connect with our audience, or perhaps be discovered From designing scaled sales and service delivery programs to ensuring our customers have best-in-class tools and products at their fingertips, our SMB team combines operational expertise with a customer-centric mindset to help businesses achieve their marketing goals on TikTok, no matter how big or small.
We're looking for a skilled leader to join as the Team Lead, SMB Agency Account Management AUNZ. This role will build, scale and oversee our SMB agency business in Australia and New Zealand, which is responsible for accelerating the investment of new advertisers. This team will engage a diverse set of customers, focusing on driving revenue and product adoption. You will empower your team to test a variety of services to understand the effectiveness in addressing advertiser needs and to identify what programs to scale to drive ROI across SMB.
**Responsibilities**:
- Spearhead the growth of the SMB Agency clients in AUNZ market
- Lead and drive a high performing team of agency account managers in the market
- Develop and execute revenue growth strategies by:
- Providing best-in-class client service and partnership
- Provide consultation to maximize ROI from advertising on TikTok
- Creative tips and best practices
- Budgeting and targeting recommendations
- Identify high-value opportunities for the team to focus on by collaborating with Product and Marketing for go-to-market strategies
- Set a high standard of communication and client management for the team to follow
- Motivate and drive the team to take initiative and succeed in AUNZ
**Qualifications**:
Required qualifications
- At least 4 years of experience in digital marketing, have sufficient understanding of the overall advertising operations and strong understanding of the market
- At least 2 years in leadership experience engaging and influencing at an executive level with cross-functional groups
- Comfortable with revenue targets, and experience working in a fast-paced, client-facing environment
- Sound analytical skills and ability to navigate ambiguity
- Independent-thinker and enjoys a fast-moving environment
- Experience working with colleagues across multiple stakeholders
- Previous experience mentoring and nurturing existing team members
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to effectively translate technical language to non-technical stakeholders
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution
Preferred qualifications
- Expert knowledge of social media, mobile apps, and digital and mobile marketing
- Knowledge of the self-serve platform, auction, and biddable form of digital advertising buying.
Agency experience media planning or account management within the SMB space.
- Proven track record of reaching and exceeding sales goals and key metrics.
- Passion for TikTok marketing, and up for the challenge of building something from the bottom up
