Our education specific brand, 'gather', is developing fast. This new role of Client Development Manager, ideally based in Parramatta, Brisbane or Melbourne, will work on complex business to business sales.
**Description**:
This is a newly created position that will develop sales and relationships in our education sector as well as the potential to develop other markets. Key to success will be a relationship driven approach to work on longer term prospects by truly understanding and adapting to client specific needs.
This role requires travel, approximately 2-3 months of the year to meet clients and prospective clients in person around Australia. When not with clients you are able to have a hybrid working model with 3 days in the office and up to 2 days working from home.
**Responsibilities include**:
- Prospecting for potential new clients across all sectors with a specific focus on Education and Healthcare catering contracts
- Ensuring achievement of both individual and team sales targets and KPIs
- Conducting thorough and timely research on each market to build a sales pipeline with clear and structured plans for opportunity management
- Build relationships with key industry stakeholders to actively promote the Cater Care gather brand within the market.
- Remain constantly up to date with industry trends and innovations, changing client needs, and present potential initiatives/innovations for development
**Skills and Experiences**:
You will have a number of years experience in business to business sales and/or in roles with demonstrable relationship building skills. Tertiary qualifications in a business related discipline will be highly regarded but are not essential.
As a passionate, proactive business development professional you will enjoy using your advanced and adaptable communication skills. Ideally you would have experience in proposal and tender coordination, and be well organised with a strong focus on attention to detail.
