Performance Reporting Analyst

**The role**:

The Finance and Technology division at South East Water is currently seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Analyst to ensure co-ordination of the reporting and analytics of the organisation’s performance indicators to Board, Executive Management and key external stakeholders. If you're seeking a new challenge and looking to branch out of a traditional data role, then this could be the role for you This is a 12 month, fixed-term position.

**Who are you?**:
To be successful in this role, you'll require the following key skills and experience:

- A tertiary qualification in either business, commerce or information technology and/or a minimum of four years’ experience and knowledge in a similar or related role
- An ability to rapidly build strong relationships with key stakeholders
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong data visualisation skills with an ability to build reports and dashboards
- An ability to translate data insights into practical and meaningful business information and recommendations
- Hands-on knowledge and experience with tools and techniques for analysis, data manipulation and presentation (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, SQL).
- Strong business acumen and an analytical and inquisitive mindset
- Financial modelling skills including spreadsheet analysis including formulas and functionality.
- Technical problem solving skills required with an ability to rely on personal experience, on the experience of others, SEW policies and procedures to solve non-standard issues that arise.
