**Position Overview**:
**As the Assistant Centre Director/Educational Leader, you will work closely with the Centre Director to oversee the day-to-day operations of the centre while providing leadership in educational programming. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a dedicated individual to contribute to the development of a supportive and inspiring environment for both children and educators.**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Support the Centre Director in managing the centre’s operations, including staffing, budgets, and compliance with regulatory standards.**:

- **Lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of high-quality educational programs that reflect the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS).**:

- **Mentor and guide educators in their professional development, fostering a positive and collaborative team culture.**:

- **Ensure that the centre meets all regulatory requirements and best practices in early childhood education.**:

- **Build strong relationships with families and the community to foster engagement and involvement in the children’s learning journey.**:

- **Provide leadership and direction in the planning and delivery of the curriculum, ensuring individual needs are met through tailored learning approaches.**:

- **Maintain a strong focus on child safety, wellbeing, and inclusion.**:

- **Support the Centre Director in day-to-day administration, reporting, and compliance tasks.**

**Essential Qualifications and Experience**:

- **A bachelor degree in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent).**:

- **Current Working with Children Check (WWCC) or relevant state-based clearance.**:

- **Proven experience in a leadership or educational leadership role within early childhood education.**:

- **Strong understanding of the EYLF, NQS, and other relevant frameworks and regulations.**:

- **Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.**:

- **Ability to motivate, mentor, and inspire a team of educators.**:

- **Passion for providing high-quality early childhood education that nurtures children’s development.**

**Desirable Skills and Attributes**:

- **Experience in managing day-to-day centre operations, including budgeting and staff management.**:

- **Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with families and the community.**:

- **A commitment to your own professional development and the development of your team.**:
