We’re seeking a dynamic and experienced manager to oversee EFTEX’s participation in both our domestic and international card payment schemes, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, optimising card operations and fostering innovation in the services we offer. **In this new role you will be responsible for**:

- Overseeing day-to-day card scheme operations;
- Managing relationships with partners and stakeholders;
- Ensuring compliance with card payment scheme requirements;
- Collaboration in the development of new products and solutions;
- Developing and delivering training sessions for staff;
- Identifying, assessing and mitigating risks associated with operations including fraud and
compliance risks;
- Developing and reviewing policies and procedures.

**You will bring to the role**:

- At least 5 years of relevant experience in card operations, compliance, or scheme management within the payments, banking or financial services industry.
- In-depth understanding of card payment schemes (eftpos, Visa and MasterCard are a must) and their associated regulations and guidelines.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
- Proven ability to lead, influence and motivate colleagues (matrix management), driving performance and achieving organisational objectives.
- Degree in Business, Finance, or a related field would be highly regarded.

We have payment processing and acquiring member relationships with all major Card Schemes (eftpos~eHub, Visa, Mastercard, AMEX, Union Pay, Cabcharge and will add other Schemes shortly) to support the needs of our fast growing client base.

We offer our clients any or all of the following services:

- ATM and POS terminal driving,
- transaction switching and payment processing,
- clearing and settlement of ATM and POS transactions
- Reconciliation and payment of settlement moneys, surcharge fee income payments and merchant rebates: and
- disputed transaction and chargebacks handling.

In return they entrust us to deliver highly secure, efficient and fast processing of payments for more than 21,000 venues in Australia who annually accept more than 130M transactions worth more than $25bn.

EFTEX has been and will continue to rapidly grow its client base, transaction and settlement volumes and we are looking for a full-time Cards Scheme manager to come and help us maximise the opportunities for our clients and EFTEX and ensure we continue to meet all Card Schemes commitments.
