**The Opportunity**

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a new transformation team focused on uplifting the cards and payments platform of a major Australian Bank.

With a thorough understanding of Software Development Life Cycle and an ability to identify defects and root cause issues and deploy rapid technology-based solutions you will also have an in-depth knowledge of business processes within payments and financial services industry.

You will work closely with the Account Delivery Team, Account Project Management Team and Account Change Management Team in helping develop and embed the Control Design and Control Assurance Program. You will also work in conjunction with the Account GRC team to develop and embed a Risk & Control Self-Assessment Program (RCSA) and Control Monitoring Program (CMP).

**What you will do**:

- Help develop and embed a Control Assurance Program, Risk & Control Self-Assessment Program (RCSA) and Control Monitoring Program (CMP) across the Client Account. Specifically focused on Change Management and Projects supporting the Cards & Payments Services Platform.
- Help undertake Line 1 Risk and Control Assurance activities across the Cards & Payments Services Platform. This includes leading and conducting Quality Assurance reviews and validation of review outcomes.
- Participate in assurance activities through testing technology and automated/IT dependent business process controls that support the Client Account.
- Help implement continuous control monitoring, automation and control rationalization and focus on continuous improvement of RSCA and CMP Frameworks.

**What you need to succeed**:

- 5+ years in control assurance and change management activities.
- Experience in Cards & Payments Services, preferred.
- Prior experience in assurance related roles, preferably with a focus on financial services, preferred.
- Experience with large-scale organizational change efforts including gathering, documenting, and managing user requirements.
- Experience of project management approaches, tools and phases of a project life-cycles.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence and drive change.
- Experience in preparing and presenting risk reports to senior management stakeholders.
- Ability to mentor and manage a small team.
