**Your new company**
The Australian Dental Council (ADC) is the independent accreditation authority for Australian based dental practitioner programs. The ADC plays an important role in protecting the health and safety of the public through developing accreditation standards, policies and procedures and ensuring these standards are adhered to.

The ADC is also about to expand its operations to include international accreditation in an exciting growth opportunity for the organisation.

Hays Recruitment is delighted to partner with the Australian Dental Council in recruiting for a Program Coordinator to join its high performing Accreditation team.

**Your new role**
As Program Coordinator, you will play an integral role in ensuring that accreditation standards are appropriately adhered to across the country. Further, you will be tasked with:

- Establishing and maintaining strong working relationships with education providers through regular meetings, stakeholder engagement and effective communication.
- Supporting education providers through the accreditation process, providing advice and guidance where required to ensure high industry standards.
- Working with external assessors involved in the accreditation process, including training and supporting them in ADC processes.
- Secretariat support activities including preparing agendas, briefing papers and minutes, maintaining records, scheduling meetings, distributing papers and attending committee meetings.

**What you'll need to succeed**
Possessing a strong working knowledge of project and program coordination with a proven track record of ensuring project success within expected timeframes. This will be supported by:

- An ability to clearly convey information through verbal and written communications with experience in a secretariat function.
- Proven experience facilitating and maintaining strong, positive relationships with stakeholders and partners, both internally and externally
- Highly demonstrated report writing, project and analytical skills.
- Able to travel for site visits as required, including potentially overseas in the future.
- Able to manage conflicting priorities
- Experience in accreditation programs within the healthcare sectors is desirable, but not essential.
