This pivotal and newly created role reports to the CEO and provides input into the organisation’s strategic planning process. Key responsibilities include:

- developing strategy and roadmaps for product (product and services), portfolio (delivery capability and processes) and platforms (technology) to achieve revenue growth targets;
- ensuring strategic management is embedded in the operational plans for the business;
- engaging with customers to understand their needs and ensure a positive customer experience;
- creating and maintaining best practice processes for trialling and measuring the effectiveness of opportunities;
- overseeing the development of the architecture for the organisation’s technology platforms;
- overseeing the definition, implementation and review of the portfolio management framework;
- building and maintaining strategic relationships with internal and external stakeholders and ensuring key stakeholders are fully engaged;
- leading, managing, developing and motivating the dedicated Product, Portfolio and Platform team and encouraging a professional, customer focused, high performing culture;
- ensuring all risks related to product, platform and portfolio are identified, assessed and managed and that all legal and regulatory compliance obligations and met.

Applications are encouraged from IT literate executives with significant experience in leading strategy and business development in a professional services, SaaS or highly regulated environment. Extensive experience working with partners to deliver solutions will be required along with demonstrated skills in strategic and financial analysis and product and portfolio management. Strong leadership, problem solving, influencing and relationship management abilities will also be important as will an entrepreneurial flair, a continuous improvement focus and a willingness to challenge the status quo. Knowledge and experience in the insurance, health insurance or comparable highly regulated sectors will be well regarded.
