The Cloud Platform Manager is responsible for overseeing support and maintenance of AWS cloud platforms for our client and their customers. This includes building and deploying software within the environment and ensuring the security of the environment. The Cloud Platform Manager will work closely with the Support Manager, SAILIS Support Coordinator, Release Coordinator, Project Managers, and customers to ensure new functionality and defect fixes are scheduled and released to targeted environments within scheduled timeframes. The Cloud Platform Manager is also responsible for managing incidents within the cloud platform.

- Uses strong strategy development skills to contribute to and execute on the client ICT strategy
- Understands client's corporate strategy and impact of initiatives across the organisation and considers the broader operational imperatives when planning and delivering ICT services
- Ensures issues are resolved and decisions made using correct data and consider scircumstances and organisational needs
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and uses the most effective communication option in each scenario
- Infers meaningful insights from data and takes appropriate action and ensures assumptions and expectations are clear and that reporting is effective
- Strong understanding of the principles of software change management, quality assurance and information security management
- Experience in participating in audits, preferably in the context of ISO9001 or ISO27001 compliant management systems
- A high level understanding of cloud infrastructure concepts, preferably in AWS
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in leading a team, with the ability to effectively communicate and delegate workto achieve operational and/or strategic outcomes.
