**Job Description**:
With 175+ restaurants across Australia, Singapore, Tokyo, and the USA, we’re opening an average of 1 new restaurant every 10 days until the end of the year. With 32+ tonnes of fresh avocados being smashed every week, Guzman y Gomez (GYG) is the fastest-growing food company in Australia, and we’re committed to demonstrating fast food, can be good food.
As the **New Restaurant Opening Lead** you will be responsible for the execution of new restaurant planning, openings, and post restaurant support. You will work closely with Franchisees, Culinary and Operations Coaches, and support internal departments to ensure that all new restaurant opening tasks are completed effectively and on time. The New Restaurant Opening Lead plays a pivotal role ensuring all restaurant openings and refurbishments are successful and delivering on food quality, guest experience, crew development and financial success.
What you can expect in the role:
- Act as a key point of contact for all stakeholders in relation to New Restaurant Openings
- Develop and implement opening plans for new restaurants
- Support training and recruitment for crew, managers, and franchisees to ensure restaurants open with a trained team
- Build and maintain relationships with franchisees, suppliers and vendors
- Provide ongoing support to new restaurants, including advising, training and troubleshooting
- Regular travel to stores during the opening process
- Support the Restaurant Opening team in other states dependant on capacity
- You will become a champion problem solver and admin support
You’ll enjoy this role if you have:
- Restaurant Operations Experience and experience in opening a new restaurant
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong stakeholder and relationship management skills with the ability to work effectively with all organisational levels
- Strong understanding of restaurant operations, including food health and safety, staff training, and inventory management
