In our mission to stop men dying too young, we’re seeking a passionate Data Strategist to join our in-market local team to support our health and fundraising efforts across our core markets.
About the role
**The Data Strategist (Digital & Social)**:
- is responsible for partnering with digital and program teams to help advance our digital measurement and social audience capabilities. The goal of the role is to evolve our approach to digital measurement for our owned properties so that product owners can optimise their channels, and to create a social insight capability which empowers our internal teams on what is happening for Men in culture and society around the world.
The role will have two major aspects, one is as a data strategist who creates an informed view on how to leverage our data in a strategic partnership with others, and the other is digital analyst who operates in the world of marketing, communications and media.
**Some of your responsibilities will be**:
- Primarily to be a data business partner to our digital, program and brand teams - representing data, analytics, reporting, and insights. Educating, supporting and enabling local resources and corporate partners on Movember’s and the MET’s data-driven aspirations.

- Be one of our go-to trusted expert for all our digital measurement and social audience insight, helping the organisation build upon the brand we have and helping unlock that potential in digital and social mediums.
- Educate all levels of local resources to become more insight-driven and leverage analytics to create a competitive advantage, by embedding a test and learn experimental culture.
- Working with the broader insights team to design, deliver and improve Movember’s organisational measurement and self-serve reporting capability i.e. turning data from a wide variety of sources into commercial, actionable narratives. Our goal as a Data and Insights team is to empower and educate Movember on using data and insights.
- Preparation and presentation of analysis and recommendations relating to the Movember campaign efforts, focussed on delivering increased fundraising, improved retention, and greater impact from marketing activities.
- Develop, articulate, and present actionable insights through data, models, dashboards, and key customer journeys to help empower senior leaders to make data-driven decisions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation to ensure that data and insights are being used effectively, as well as ensuring the quality and accuracy of the interpretation are maintained.
**Your knowledge and experience**
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Science, Psychology or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in working with digital and social media data
- Proven business partner or similar experience (Account Management, consultant)
- Web analytics - BigQuery, Google Analytics, web behavioural analytics
- Social Listening - Sprout Social, Brandwatch or other enterprise listening tool.
- SEO / Search analytics
- Paid Social / Digital media experience.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
- Innovative thinker.
- Storyteller and creative strong communication skills (written, verbal and presentation).
