As a key member of our development team, you will lead traffic engineering investigations, manage infrastructure planning, and deliver solutions that improve safety and efficiency for our growing community.
**To be successful in this role you will have**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or similar)
- Hold a current unrestricted C class national driver’s licence
- Minimum five (5) years’ of relevant experience
- Experience in leading and managing a team consisting of technical and engineering staff
- Developed knowledge and experience in civil design and project management of traffic management and municipal infrastructure projects including road, drainage, car parks, footpaths and street lighting
- Experience in carrying out detailed engineering investigations, designs and estimates for civil infrastructure and traffic management projects
- Ability to design and implement business systems, policies and procedures to improve organisational asset management capacity
- Working knowledge of Local Government budget preparation and implementation procedures
- Developed understanding of the Local Government Act, Australian Standards and other legislative requirements
- High level leadership and coordination skills
- High level of negotiation, communication and consultation skills
- High level organisational, decision making and project management ability
**The finer details**
This fulltime Level 9 position attracts a salary range of $125,891 - $134,254 gross per annum dependent on qualifications and experience. The position also includes a $10,000 car allowance.
